I have spent the past week coughing, sneezing, drinking liquids and trying to get over a very unpleasant bug. But I am never one to waste time so I did get two wonderful quilts made. The first one, a pattern from Jo Morton that we had picked up at Spring Market--an appliqued eagle center block, surrounded with pieced strips that is reminiscent of an old flag. I machine quilted it and it really looks wonderful. We have kitted this one. I also got a project finished using all of Robyn's new fabric line. You will have to stop by and see this one, I really love the way it turned out. 1/3 yard cuts makes the entire top.

The newsletter is at the printers and will be delivered this week. We will be having a "back to school" sale beginning Sept. 1. Come in to check out the deals. All of the samples for classes are on display and we really do have a wonderful lineup. We have already had a number of people sign up so you will want to get your choices picked early.

With Labor Day coming, the weather has already started to show signs of Fall. Yeah, time to really get busy with Christmas plans and at least one new bed quilt for the house.

Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Barbara
