My gosh, where has the summer goner? I really can't believe that it is August already. The heat will probably be with us a few more weeks, but we all know that when September arrives so will cooler temperatures and the promise of falling leaves. With that picture in mind, it really will be time to start thinking about our winter quilting projects. To get you started, I am working on some really great classes for Sept., Oct., Nov. and Dec. Ann and Lou Ann have some great ideas and I have a couple of new teachers lined up for some fun. If you have a desire for a particular class or technique, now is the time to let me know so that I can be thinking about adding something else to the line up.
Last week we received our shipment of the new pink rotary cutters from Olfa. These are the breast cancer awareness cutters and 50 cents from the sale of each cutter goes to breast cancer research. A great cause and they are just so darn good looking. Pink is so much more fun than yellow.
We have a lot of new fabric that has come in the last few days and we are expecting the Whimsicals line any day as well as Robyn's new fabric should be here sometime this week.
Christmas fabric and panels are selling fast. Judy and Kathy informed me that the placemats are gone. Your Christmas bucks are still good through the end of August. Remember that all of our Christmas panels make great gifts for everyone on your list.
Looking forward to seeing you this week--Barbara

Sooo, what's the story with the newsletter. And I guess we will start the web site after that? Talk to you soon,
