NOTES FROM THE LODGE Monday, July 7, 2008
Sorry that this is a day late!!!! I have just had such a busy week and yesterday I did something that I rarely do---I CLEANED HOUSE. Can you believe doing such a thing? My sewing area had begun to look like a fabric bomb had exploded. At any rate, my head is a tad bit clearer because I'm not avoiding areas of the house that needed attention. AHHHHHHHH! now I can hold my head up high and enjoy my surroundings.
What an explosive week!!! Hope your Fourth was celebratory and the food was good!!! Can you believe that 7 years ago Nutmeg Lodge was open for business. What a ride this has been. We started our Anniversary Sale on Saturday and I was so happy to see so many familiar faces. And the Christmas fabric is out and on sale also. Can life get any better than that? 25% off store-wide, now really is the time to get stocked up and ready to make all of your Christmas gifts. So many of you arrived on Saturday with lists to get you started. The best part of a sale at Nutmeg Lodge is that it lasts all week so you have time to double check and add to the stock. The sale runs through Saturday so don't let this great opportunity pass you by.
I will be off to Bridgeport on Thursday to set up for the Millennium Quilters show. If you are in the area on Friday afternoon and Saturday, be sure and come to the show---a lovely group of quilters with extraordinary quilts in the show. If you know someone in the Bridgeport/Clarksburg area, call them and remind them to stop by.
So many of you have stopped by and picked up Kid Comfort kits---thanks for your willing help in this wonderful project.
Somehow I think I am leaving a whole bunch of things out so I will possibly update the blog later if my brain reminds me what else I need to tell you.
See you all at the Sale!!!! Barbara
