NOTES FROM THE LODGE Sunday, September 28, 2008
The weather has only put a small damper on things---our scarecrow, Meg took her place on her perch at the corner of Winchester and W. King. Holding a quilt, she will be heralding Nutmeg Lodge for the next month. Drive by and check her out and then head down King and north on Queen to see the great contenders in this year's Scarecrow Contest.
Nutmeg Lodge always has so many things going on. A little update about the current happenings is as follows:
You can still stop by and sew a stocking or two. Millie Rymand and Lois Simmons were heros this week and sewed a great number of stockings. We really enjoyed having them in the shop happily working away for a great cause. The best part, for each stocking you sew you get $1.00 credit for shopping at Nutmeg Lodge.
You can pick up jars of local honey for $5.00 a jar. This is our Cathy's own local honey. You can also call and order fresh eggs from Cathy. She can deliver on Tues. and Wed.
Beginning Wednesday, it is time for our FALL FLING SALE!!! 25% off the entire store. The last and best opportunity you have to get started on Christmas projects with a big savings. We still have a lot of panels, and tons of ideas to help you with really quick and easy projects that will be perfect for your giving needs. In these times of economic stresses, what better way to save money and give something totally unique and treasurable.
We are about to shake things up a bit at Nutmeg Lodge. A new floor plan is ready to be unveiled. New classes will be posted. A new approach to some of the programs we offer. Yes, changes are coming and I think it will be a welcomed change. Stay tuned!!! Barbara
PS FALL FLING----Starts Wed., Oct. 1 and will run thru Sat., Oct. 11.....25% off store-wide
