NOTES FROM THE LODGE Sunday, September 7, 2008

Home from Sully!!! It was a spectacular day and so many lovely quilters. There actually were very few people wanting to "buy the quilts". I took 12 bins of fat quarters and everyone really enjoyed going through and selecting a huge variety for, as yet undecided projects.

When I got home and checked my email I was so delighted to get the post from RJR about my treasured friend, Robyn Pandolph. This was the official announcement about her place with that wonderful fabric company and her website. You can all see what I am talking about by going to www.robynpandolph.com. It is a great site and we will all enjoy seeing what is going on with Robyn as time goes by. I will also have Kathy link it to the Nutmeg Lodge site as well.

Last week was a very busy week at the shop. A ton of fabric arrived along with new patterns. Quite a few panels as well as some lovely collections. Come in and check these out.

I forgot to mention my trip to Hatteras---fun is the only word to describe it. My friend and I literally had a ton of laughs. We came back a little earlier than planned because of Hannah but the trip was great none-the-less. I am tried after so many days of running around. I am sure that there a few more things to mention but can't recall what they are right now. See you all at the shop soon. Barbara
