NOTES FROM THE LODGE Sunday, February 15, 2009

A belated Happy Valentine's Day. I just got back from Retreat. Thanks to all the great gals who attended. Today was my birthday and they made the day so very special. We all had such a fabulous time. The number of things that got finished was unbelievable. FYI, I am hosting another weekend the first of May. May 1, 2 and 3. This is a wonderful opportunity to come spend three days with great people, have great food and get so many things finished or started. Either way it is an unbelievable time. Judy reported that there was a fun time at the shop as well. Robyn's new fabric line has fairly flown off the shelves. This weekend I designed and made a new stripy quilt with some of the blue pieces from the line--of course that fabric is now gone as well. We are still offering kits of the quilt from the American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. We will be reordering all of the pieces this week so that we can satisfy your desires. Call, email or come in to get in on this totally beautiful line of fabric.

CONGRATULATIONS to Patty Wilmoth!!!! She became a grandmother this weekend. Silas Wilmoth weighed in at 7 pounds 2 oz. Mother, Dad, Grandmothers and Grandfathers are all apparently doing well.
