NOTES FROM THE LODGE Sunday, July 12, 2009
I did not post the blog last week--sorry for those of you who are following me. I have really been getting myself adjusted to my new life and trying to figure out my new schedule. This is sort of like being in a foreign land where the clocks work on a different time zone and the bed is facing the wrong direction. My new job is now full time and I am trying to make a new life for myself. Just the routine of coming home and having dinner seems somehow sort of upside down. I need to get a letter out to everyone about Retreat and I need to get a schedule started for Willing Hands. I am aware of all of this and really will get that done in the next few days.
In the meantime, life does go on. I have been loving this weather and my asthma has subsided somewhat. In case you did not know--I spent the first two weeks of my new life having a terrible time with what has become a chronic asmatic condition. Several conversations and trips to the doctors, xrays, new meds, etc., etc., and I am finally able to breath fairly well and can at least sleep through the night. Enough of that jargon-----
Robyn is back in Singapore and the time differences in our lives makes it next to impossible to communicate. The design business is going but I wish it were more organized. Soon I hope. Pattie and Cathy are still with me on that front.
Judy is still running Thimbleberries and her ladies seem to be as pleased as can be. I am glad for that.
I miss all of you and hope we run into each other soon. Barbara
